"Discovering the true taste of Ghana"

Hi there my friend!

Are you a fan of African cuisine? Well, then you are in the right place. The word Shitor means pepper in Ga.One of the many languages found in the beautiful country Ghana. The origins of shitor can be traced to the Ga tribein Ghana, as they use it for their favorite delicacy of Komi(Kenkey) and Kena(fish).

You can have the red shitor or black or shitor din. However, the word has become a house hold word in all Ghanaian homes and around the world.

In most Chinese restaurants across the world, shitor replaces layou as a condiment to fried rice/steamed rice. Hence, Shitor over the years has become globally accepted as a side dish and this spicy sauce can be eaten with virtually anything; from rice to bread, and from noodles to chaptai. It comes in various grades. MILD,HOT, AND SUPER DUPPER HOT!
